Despite being a vineyard with great historical trajectory (founded in 1880), Santa Rita vineyard, from Buin, and producer of the famous line 120, is usually (and unfairly) outside of the routes for tourists and locals interested in a visit wine. Last year, the prestigious British publication “The Drinks Business” considered his Royal Medal the best Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile and one of the best in the world, so that Santa Rita has many reasons to highlight not only the award.
Aside from its good resume for visitors is also an excellent choice as the guided tour takes pains to show Chilean viticulture in an environment surrounded by vineyards and mountains and offers the opportunity to visit the cellars and bottling plant. As attractive highlight, he will delve into a cellar made of masonry and the famous “Bodega 120 patriots”, a Chilean national monument. The tour ends with a tasting of reserve wines.
